Wireless (802.11) OID Logs

This page provides links to several sample PCAGizmo NDIS OID Monitor logs. This information may be helpful to developers interested in understanding the sequence of NDIS request and status operations involved in managing 802.11 adapters.

These logs were made primarily using a new version of PCAGizmo (V1.0.0.12) that installs a NDIS 5 Intermediate (IM) filter driver on pre-Vista Windows versions and a NDIS 6 Lightweight FIlter (LWF) monitoring driver on Vista. This PCAGizmo version can log both NDIS 5 and NDIS 6 OID operations.
